Who doesn’t love a sausage roll? Friday night footy, kids parties or a quick mid-week dinner, these Healthy Sausage Rolls are perfect for almost any meal. A tasty, healthy version of a family favourite, they are great for sneaking in those extra veggies that the kids always seem to push to the side of the plate!
Healthy Sausage Rolls

Ingredients
500 g chicken, beef or tofu mince
1 grated carrot
1 grated zucchini
1 small onion, chopped finel􏱈y
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp chopped fresh flat leaf parsely
1 pinch pink salt & pepper, to taste
1 pkt mountain bread wraps
1 egg, beaten with a splash of water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Combine all ingredients, except egg and wraps􏱢􏱨.
  3. Slice each 􏱇􏱦wrap􏱢 in half across􏱦t􏱪􏱨􏱨 t􏱤he cent􏱤r􏱦e. Lay􏱈 o􏱪ne line o􏱪f mix􏱅 dow􏱪􏱇n t􏱤he s􏱨ide o􏱪f o􏱪ne o􏱪f t􏱤he wr􏱇􏱦ap􏱢 halv􏱆es􏱨. Ro􏱪ll t􏱤ight􏱤ly􏱈 just􏰂􏱨􏱤as􏱨 you wou􏱈􏰂􏱇􏱪􏰂ld making 􏱢pastry sausage roll. Brush the edge with egg and seal tightly.
  4. Cut 􏱦􏱪roll􏱨 in􏱤􏱪to desired portions and lay􏱈 􏱪on a baking 􏱤􏱦tray􏱈 lined 􏱇with non-stick baking paper, sealed edge down. Brush the top with egg mix and sprinkle with sesame or fennel seeds, optional.
  5. Bake at 180C until golden.
Notes
Serving Suggestions:
• Serve with your favourite homemade sauces.
• Add a salad or some steamed veg on the side.
