AppleBerries Kallangur – Creating An Environment Your Kids Want To Be In

When it comes to choosing a childcare centre for your child or children or even an after-school care option, one of the most important factors parents look for is a place where their little ones will feel safe and loved.

AppleBerries first childcare centre located in Beenleigh created a real sense of a  ‘home away from home’ feeling. They have recently welcomed Kallangur Child Care into the AppleBerries Early Education Service family and have done a wonderful job in recreating the same environment.

As a privately-owned service, they understand that enrolling in a service that “fits” your needs is the number one priority.  The most important part of this fit is the feeling you get when you leave your child in their care.  You should feel completely comfortable in the fact that your little one will be getting the exact same care that you would give them at home. And that’s exactly what they do!

Service Manager Samantha has an immense amount of experience and is passionate about delivering on the home away from home promise. She says, “families choose services to care and educate their children because of work, study and social interaction reasons, I believe as educators it is our responsibility to provide an environment that the children “want to be in”, not because they have to be. Our aim is to have them running through the doors to see what adventures await them each day.”

The team of educators strive to develop social, cognitive, language, creativity skills and physical competence in all children through emergent curriculum programming. They spend a lot of time exploring the unique and magnificent outdoor space that is truly magical.   There are very few services in Australia that would have an outdoor environment as impressive as this service.

Recently, the educators at Appleberries Early Education Kallangur have been busy with “operation Kindy”. They have been cleaning, rearranging and decorating their new and improved Kindergarten classroom. The revitalised space offers free flowing access to learning areas themed around cognitive play, imaginative play and manipulative play.

This new and improved learning environment is the first phase of what is to come and their new educator Miss Liz,  can’t wait to further develop the kindergarten program as she builds new relationships with children and families and settles into life as part of the AppleBerries family.
